The Atlanta Christian Church will hold its annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at noon this Sunday, Nov. 24. Members of the church invite the public to give thanks, share in faith and fellowship and enjoy a meal together. Dinner, which begins at noon, is being hosted by members of the Atlanta Christian Church.

The Church is also pleased to announce it is bringing back by popular demand a special evening with Woody and Vonnie Wright. This duet, through their faith and music, bring words of inspiration, hope, encouragement and entertainment. The concert begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Pastor Jody Brown says the doors are open and the church, which was founded in 1842, welcomes all.

“We invite anyone looking for a welcoming, encouraging and supportive faith-based environment to join us for these special events or attend one of our weekly Sunday Worship Service at 9:45 a.m. and/or Adult Sunday School Class beginning at 10:45 a.m.,” said Brown.

Both events are free, open to the public and take place at Atlanta Christian Church, 200 E. Main St., Atlanta.
