Ascension St. Vincent Fishers earns perinatal Level II recertification

Ascension St. Vincent Fishers has officially been granted recertification by the Indiana Department of Health for both Obstetric Level II and Neonatal Level II care.

The certification follows a comprehensive recertification visit completed by state surveyors on Sept. 9, confirming that the facility continues to satisfy all state requirements for specialized perinatal and neonatal healthcare services. The official certification is effective through Oct. 8, 2029.

Level II perinatal designation recognizes hospitals equipped to provide specialized care for mothers and newborns with moderate-risk conditions requiring advanced clinical oversight and specialized medical capabilities.

In its official notice, the Indiana Department of Health highlighted the positive impact of multidisciplinary education on the safe care of perinatal patients and commended the facility’s dedication to ongoing staff education.
