Aftershock Events will bring another curated community market to Downtown Noblesville with the East Alley Summer Market, taking place from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.

Following the strong community response to the recent South Alley Night Market, the East Alley Summer Market continues Aftershock Events’ work of activating underused downtown spaces through creative, walkable, locally focused events.

The market will feature a curated mix of local makers, artists, handmade goods, vintage finds, boutique items, sweet treats, plants, creative services, nonprofits, and community-centered small businesses. Guests are invited to stroll the alley, shop local vendors, enjoy grab-and-go food, visit nearby downtown businesses, and experience a summer market atmosphere tucked into one of Noblesville’s alley spaces.

The first 100 shoppers will receive an exclusive “I Got Lost in East Alley” collectible sticker, designed specifically for the event. Every Aftershock Events market features its own event sticker, giving guests a small keepsake from each market experience.

The East Alley Summer Market will also include interactive elements from The PlayLab Co., along with food options from Capabilities Café, a Janus Developmental Services-sponsored work program located on the lower level of the Hamilton County Judicial Center. Capabilities Café will be on-site with grab-and-go summer favorites.

“We saw with South Alley that people are excited to gather in downtown’s tucked-away spaces and support local vendors,” Aftershock Events Founder Jessica Vandergraff said. “East Alley gives us another opportunity to create something vibrant, welcoming, and community-centered while helping bring more visibility and foot traffic to local businesses.”

Vendor announcements and additional event details will be shared leading up to the market through Aftershock Events’ social media channels.

The following weekend, Aftershock Events will keep the community energy going with Romp the Commons on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Federal Hill Commons. The ‘70s-inspired community gathering invites attendees to wear caftans, bold prints, oversized sunglasses, and their best Mrs. Roper-style looks while enjoying an evening of music, photo opportunities, and playful downtown fun during the Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press concert.
