Tennis: Noblesville gets big win over Zionsville

The Noblesville girls tennis team got a tremendous win on Thursday, beating No. 5-ranked Zionsville 3-2 in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference dual meet.

The No. 14 Millers swept all three singles matches for the victory. No. 1 Bella Duncan was a 6-4, 6-3 winner, No. 2 Allie Stamm won 6-2, 6-0, and No. 3 Josie Flinchum clinched the victory with a 6-3, 7-5 win.

“Last year we lost to them 4-1, so this was a great conference win for us,” said Noblesville coach Kevin Lindley. The Eagles had beaten No. 4 Park Tudor on Wednesday.

The Millers are 1-2 and take on another ranked opponent at noon Saturday, playing No. 12 North Central.
