Marian University has announced the promotion of Hamilton County’s own Jessica Morales Maust to Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management for the university.
Morales Maust previously served as Executive Director of the Marian University Center for Vibrant Schools and the Head of School for the Marian University Preparatory School, where she was responsible for launching Central Indiana’s newest K-12 online school.
In her new role as Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management, Morales Maust will plan, oversee, direct and evaluate the university’s enrollment management efforts, including designing and implementing recruitment strategies and overseeing admissions operations.
“Marian University continues to increase the number of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, as well as campus and site locations, adding more talented leaders to manage these growing efforts,” said Brad R. Wucher, Vice President for Enrollment Marketing and Communications. “Jessica has demonstrated excellent vision for our K-12 programs and dedication to our mission. Through her leadership, Marian University will continue to thrive as a national leadership institution.”
Morales Maust previously held leadership positions in admissions, enrollment management, marketing and institutional advancement for K-12 and higher education organizations, including Iona College in New York, St. Joseph High School in Connecticut, and Canterbury School in Fort Wayne.
Her community service work includes serving on the Young Professionals Council for TeenWorks, which provides at-risk teens with work and professional development experience; on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne; and on the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness Committee for Indianapolis’ School on Wheels.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and Spanish, an MBA in marketing and human resources management, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in organizational leadership.
“I am excited about the opportunity to impact the sustainability and legacy of Marian University, a champion for education that leads with and lives out its values in all that they do,” Morales Maust said. “The momentum and success of Marian University is a result of intentional, strategic leadership, collaboration, and action. I am eager to extend the university’s mission through strategic and integrated enrollment management to build upon the already abundant future of our great school and community.”
