This Thursday don’t miss the Northern Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce’s (NHCCC) first luncheon of the year.
The luncheon will feature a look through Sheridan’s history. The Sheridan Historical Society will host the luncheon and tell attendees about the museum, which has been in its new location for two years now.
The museum recently opened a new exhibit honoring Sheridan’s long time football coach Bud Wright.
“Our exhibits cover the history of Adams Township and Marion Township of Boone County,” said Historical Society President Ron Stone. “We are proud of our work in genealogy and have many active members who help in searching family history. We have lots of resources to aid in searching for information. Sheridan, once the second largest town in the county, was at one time a bustling community.”
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Sheridan Historical Society, 315 S. Main St., Sheridan. Click here to get your tickets. Members can attend for $15; guests for $18.
