Dear Editor:

I am proud to support Beth Sheller for Hamilton County Clerk.

My support for Beth comes from years of first-hand experience working with her in more than one capacity. I have worked at the polls during many elections in Hamilton County and have seen firsthand the care, preparation, and professionalism Beth brings to administering our elections.

In addition, in my role as Hamilton County Councilor, I have had the opportunity to work with Beth and observe how she manages the Election Office. I have consistently been impressed by the professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail with which she runs her department. Beth understands the tremendous responsibility that comes with overseeing our elections, and she has carried out that responsibility with competence and integrity.

Elections require careful preparation, long hours, and the ability to handle unexpected issues calmly and fairly. Beth has consistently risen to that challenge. Under her leadership, I have found the Hamilton County Election Office to be well organized, responsive, and above reproach.

Beth’s commitment to public service extends well beyond her work in the Election Office. She has been an active community volunteer and also served as the Hamilton County Council’s appointment to the Hamilton East Public Library Board. That service is another example of the trust placed in Beth and her willingness to devote her time and talents to our community.

The office of County Clerk is an important one, and experience matters. Beth Sheller has the knowledge, integrity, temperament, and proven record to serve Hamilton County extremely well. I am pleased to support her for Hamilton County Clerk and encourage others to do the same.
