American rock groups Alabama Shakes and Tedeschi Trucks performed on Saturday evening, Aug. 22, at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville.
Hailing from Athens, Ala., Alabama Shakes consists of lead singer and guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, and bassist Zac Cockrell.
Based in Jacksonville, Fla., Tedeschi Trucks formed as a combination of the solo projects of the husband-and-wife team Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi. Trucks is the nephew of The Allman Brothers Band founding member and drummer Butch Trucks.
