World Fitness Project Community Race coming to Westfield Aug. 29

Join the World Fitness Project (WFP) at Droplight Grand Park Sports Campus on Saturday, Aug. 29 for a free, chip-timed 10K or 5K Community Race.

The action starts at 7 a.m., when WFP’s professional athletes take on the 10K as part of the Pro Tour competition. Come down early to spectate, then follow them onto the same closed-road, mixed-terrain course for the Community Race at 9 a.m., giving you the opportunity to experience the pro route and benchmark your time against some of the fittest athletes in the world.

Check-in and registration will be open from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Entry is free and includes a race bag and access to the WFP Vendor Village and wider public event areas, with prizes available for the leading male and female finishers.
