The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that the State Road 47 Reconstruction Project in Sheridan is moving to Phase 3 on or after Monday, Aug. 10.
During Phase 3, SR 47 will remain closed to through traffic between Hamilton-Boone County Line Road and State Road 38. The official detour follows SR 38 and U.S. 421.
Also during Phase 3, Mule Barn Road and California Street will close at the intersection with SR 47. All local traffic will enter and exit Sheridan Estates and all business from the west side of SR 47. Maple Run neighborhood traffic will enter and exit off of Mule Barn Road.
Phase 3 of the SR 47 Reconstruction Project will be in place through the end of the year.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
