Carmel preschoolers love their local letter carrier

The famed Carmel postal worker Mr. Greg has become a familiar face for the children of Primrose School, who eagerly watch for him and race to the playground fence to wave as his mail truck arrives.

Recently, the preschoolers surprised Mr. Greg with handmade thank-you cards, colorful posters, and heartfelt messages of appreciation. The surprise gave students an opportunity to recognize an everyday hero and learn firsthand about the important role community helpers play in their lives.

Mr. Greg showed children around his mail truck, sharing what he enjoys about serving their community and explaining how acts of kindness can make a difference. He also spent time answering the children’s questions and shared that one of the most rewarding parts of his job is watching children grow up while serving the same community year after year.

Overwhelmed by the surprise, Mr. Greg shared that he plans to display every card and poster at the local post office so fellow mail carriers can enjoy the children’s thoughtful messages.
