Highlights of Westfield Rocks the 4th

On Friday, July 3, the intersection of State Road 32 and Union Street will close from 5:45 to 8 p.m. for the America 250 in Westfield Freedom Parade. The parade route on Union Street from North Union Street near IMMI to College Avenue will be closed from 5:45 to 8 p.m. Please detour using the route displayed above if you plan to travel in this area. Westfield’s America 250 celebration kicks off Thursday, July 2 and runs through Independence Day. Keep reading for highlights on the main events for each day.

Red, White & Bloom Farmers Market

The America 250 in Westfield festivities begin at Grand Junction Plaza from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2 with a patriotic theme night at the Westfield Farmers Market, presented by Community Health Network, called “Red, White, and Bloom.”

Check out vendors with special themed products, Fourth of July specials, family-friendly activities, and renditions of Americana hits from the live musician on-site. For more information, click here.

Freedom Parade & Kickoff Concert

America 250 in Westfield will continue at 6 p.m. Friday, July 3 with the Freedom Parade, presented by Meijer. The parade will kick off on North Union Street and will extend to just south of Grand Junction Plaza at College Avenue.

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy food vendors, local business activations, airbrush artists, balloon twisters, and more at Grand Junction Plaza. The Jason Lee McKinney Band takes the Main Stage for a free concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, attendees can experience powerful stories from America’s past through live performances by the Basile Westfield Playhouse, bringing historical voices to life on stage.

Westfield Rocks the 4th

The party continues on Saturday, July 4 when Westfield Rocks the 4th, presented by Community Health Network, returns to Droplight Grand Park Sports Campus from 4 to 10:30 p.m. event is free and open to the public and will feature live music, food vendors, and a drone and fireworks show at 10 p.m.
