In less than three weeks, Lea Salonga, beloved for her Tony Award-winning role in Miss Saigon and for providing the singing voices of Princess Jasmine and Fa Mulan in Disney’s animated classics Aladdin and Mulan, will join Michael Feinstein, founder of The Great American Songbook Foundation, for the 2026 Songbook Academy® Public Masterclass.
Kicking off the public events of this year’s Songbook Academy Week, the masterclass will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, July 13, at the Payne & Mencias Palladium. Salonga and Feinstein will provide live coaching to 10 randomly selected Songbook Academy participants, giving audiences a rare opportunity to observe the mentoring process firsthand.
Whether you’re a lifelong Broadway fan, a Disney enthusiast, an aspiring performer or simply a lover of great music, this event offers a unique chance to witness the next generation of artists learn from two internationally celebrated performers.
