December 18, 1960 – May 11, 2026
Leigh Gray (Craig), 65, passed away on May 11, 2026, in Indianapolis, with her loving husband by her side. Born on December 18, 1960, in Muncie, she was a woman whose gentle spirit, quiet courage, and unwavering love touched everyone she knew.
Leigh grew up in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School. She built a life defined by resilience, intelligence, and steady dedication. She worked in the Oncology and Gastroenterology departments at the IU Medical Center, then at the DermatoPathology Laboratory, before becoming a key part of her husband’s business, DGE Automation, where her clarity, steadiness, and professionalism made her indispensable. Leigh was also deeply involved with AMPWDA and Search & Rescue, where her commitment and leadership were recognized with the Distinguished Service Award.
Her life was shaped by her love for animals, especially her dogs and cats, who were part of every aspect of her life; every trip, routine, and quiet moment she cherished. She found joy in her gardens, her home, and the family she welcomed into her life.
She is survived by her husband, Dan; her son, Branden; and her granddaughter, Madelyn.
