The Cancer Care Cup announces its 10th annual Charity Golf Outing, marking a decade of community support, generosity, and meaningful impact for oncology patients across Indiana.
The Cancer Care Cup will take place Thursday, July 30 at Eagle Creek Golf Club, 8802 W. 56th St., Indianapolis.
Since its inception, the Cancer Care Cup has raised more than $350,000, directly assisting over 200 oncology patients in need. From 2017 to the present, support has reached patients across 41 Indiana counties, helping ease financial burdens and provide critical assistance during cancer treatment.
“This milestone year reflects the incredible generosity of our community over the past decade,” organizers of the Cancer Care Cup said. “Every sponsor, golfer, and volunteer has played a role in helping us provide hope and relief to patients and their families when they need it most.”
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Cancer Care Cup ensures that 100 percent of proceeds go directly to assisting oncology patients, helping provide essential support to those facing the challenges of cancer.
A lymphoma patient shared their experience with the program:
“I received a gas card to help get me to my appointments. I have so many and have had to have fluid drawn off my lungs and a chest tube put in. I have had several hospital stays also. It would have been a real struggle without Cancer Care Cup’s help. I don’t know how I would have managed.”
An oncology social worker added:
“You guys rock! Thank you for your continued support of our patients in need. Your help is vital.”
As preparations are in full force for the 10th anniversary event, organizers are actively seeking event sponsors and golf teams to help make this year’s outing the most impactful yet. Local businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to get involved and support this meaningful cause.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, offering visibility at the event along with the opportunity to directly impact local cancer patients and families.
Golf teams are also invited to register now and be part of this milestone celebration on the course.
For sponsorship or registration information, please contact Branden Voegerl or Shallon Vandervort, Cancer Care Cup Co-Chairs, at cancercarecup@gmail.com.
Together, the community can help make the 10th annual Cancer Care Cup the most successful yet, continuing a decade-long legacy of compassion, support, and hope for those fighting cancer.
