Recently ranked the No. 2 best place to live in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, Fishers is gearing up for a vibrant summer season filled with concerts, festivals, arts programming, and community events for all ages.
This year’s summer schedule features a wide variety of free and family-friendly activities including themed days at the Fishers Farmers Market, Touch-a-Truck, Park After Dark, Fourth of July fireworks, Free Tuesday Concerts at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, seasonal art classes, summer camps, and signature events like Spark!Fishers and the Fishers Lū’au.

Summer nights were made for the beach. Grab your friends for an adults-only monthly beach night at Geist Waterfront Park. Fishers Parks will bring the music, fire pits, and summer sunset views while MashCraft Brewing will see beer and wine onsite. Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health

As one of the top farmers markets in the region, marketgoers will experience an expanded layout this year with more than 90 Indiana vendors (with 25 new vendors), free community yoga, live music, kids’ activities, specialty market days, and the new Breezeway Café experience. Beach season returns to Geist Waterfront Park beginning May 29. Enjoy swimming, sandy beaches, and waterfront recreation all summer long with lifeguards on duty daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The park remains free outside of peak hours, with parking fees for non-residents during peak weekend hours and select holidays. Cool Off at Fishers Splash Pads

Cool off this summer at Fishers’ splash pads, open daily through Labor Day at Holland Park (1 Park Drive) and Billericay Park (12690 Promise Road). All American Ice Cream Bike Ride

Enjoy a summer evening celebrating America’s 250 with two wheels. This casual, family-friendly ride begins at the Nickel Plate Amphitheater with bike decorating and other activities before heading to Holland Park for a pit stop to cool off with a scoop of Handels ice cream.
