Real peony people don’t mind a rain delay & Sunday proved it!

If you thought stormy weather could put a soft pedal on a peony-percolated weekend … boy, were you wrong!

Thanks to quick thinking from Indiana Peony Festival organizers, the decision was made early Saturday morning to push the party to Sunday, May 17. As your peepers can perceive from the above picture, peony-lovers of all persuasions packed the park in Noblesville to get their fill of springtime fun. By the way, if you didn’t make it to the merchandise tent last weekend, you can pick up peony apparel at this link.

Thank you for another great Indiana Peony Festival. See you next May!

The Reporter’s friend Chasten Harmon was a Very Important Peony Person on Friday. She is also the proprietor of Pure Green, 8594 E. 116th St., in the heart of Fishers. Thanks to Tenth Street Photography, she, like many others, has a physical picture of proof of her peony-packed fun-filled Friday. (Photo by Tenth Street Photography)
