Wawa thanks nurses at Riley Children’s Health at IU Health Fishers

To celebrate National Nurses Week, May 6 to 12, the Wawa Community Care Coffee Vehicle took a trip to Riley Children’s Health at IU Health Fishers to serve coffee to thank healthcare heroes.

“Children’s Miracle Network is a longstanding partner of Wawa and The Wawa Foundation, and we are thrilled to celebrate National Nurses Week at our CMN hospital partners in our newest communities,” said Liz Simeone, President of The Wawa Foundation. “We hope our visits brighten the days of nurses and lets the healthcare community know how much we all appreciate them.”

Now through May 24, customers can visit any Wawa store to support Children’s Miracle Network. Funds raised for Children’s Miracle Network help local children’s hospitals provide care for kids facing accidents, chronic conditions, premature birth, mental health challenges and life-threatening illnesses.
