We’re thrilled to reveal the official 2026 design for the Indiana Peony Festival, created by talented South Bend artist Sammy Kacius!

This vibrant artwork highlights the beauty and symbolisms of historic Seminary Park, while showcasing the spirit of Hoosier tourism. We can’t wait to share this design and our full festival collection with you this May!

We were blown away by the many amazing submissions we received and are deeply grateful to every artist for sharing their creativity, time, and effort in this year’s competition.

Kacius is a graphic designer, illustrator, and engineer originally from Indianapolis. He has a passion for both creative and technical design, having graduated from Notre Dame in 2023 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Design. He now lives in South Bend and works for the university as a graphic designer on the Leadership Events team, where he uses his skills to craft meaningful experiences that advance fundraising efforts.

As a lifelong Hoosier, Kacius said he couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this year’s Indiana Peony Festival and help showcase the beauty found here in the Crossroads of America.

Thank you, Sammy Kacius! We love to hear our peony reach is growing amongst the state of Indiana!

Stay tuned for more merchandise updates and official IPF collectible offers as we progress into spring. Make sure to follow along on our social media for the latest news, announcements, and all things peony. May will be here before we know it!
