Dear Editor:

Over 20 years ago, my wife and I made the decision to move our family to Fishers based in large part on the high-caliber education offered by Hamilton Southeastern Schools. In the time since, our family, the city, and the district at large have all grown, but the quality remains.

And it shows up in the data. The District recently announced that a record 98.8 percent of seniors at HSE and Fishers had graduated in the Class of 2025. HSE Schools has guided two of our children to graduation and into college, with one more fast approaching. I am immensely proud of their accomplishments, and that they happened at a place at which they can now proudly call themselves alumni. District leaders, led by Superintendent Pat Mapes, have put students’ best interest at the forefront of their decision making, and the results speak for themselves.

To the Class of 2025, I offer one more congratulations. To Mr. Mapes and HSE leadership, I thank you for putting positive outcomes for students first, and continuing to set the standard across the state.
