The annual Thanksgiving Breakfast with a Cop, hosted by the Central Indiana Police Foundation, is a chance to recognize police officers for their service. State Rep. Lopez says this is always a special event for him, but this year was particularly impactful and emotional for the hundreds who attended.

Former State Police Superintendent (and former Hamilton County Sheriff) Doug Carter reflected on his career and the ways policing has evolved, and guests heard from the families of Abby Williams and Libby German, the two young women from Delphi brutally taken from us in 2017.

The Central Indiana Police Foundation does so much in support those who serve and protect local communities and their families, and events like this one are a great illustration of just how powerful their work really is.
