The City of Fishers is now accepting applications for the 2026 Neighborhood Vibrancy Grant Program. Entering its 26th year, the program supports creative and innovative neighborhood projects that enhance the beauty, sustainability, and livability of Fishers.
The 80/20 matching grant program for homeowners associations and neighborhood groups provides up to $25,000 in matching funds, with the grant recipient paying 20 percent of the project cost. The city has allocated $400,000 from the 2026 budget to support the program. Recent neighborhood projects included installing pollinator gardens, new athletic courts, landscape beautification, and ADA-accessible playgrounds and recreation spaces.
New in 2026, applicants with a completed reserve study will receive funding preference, and grant funds may now be used to support the completion of a reserve study as part of a project.

Fadness
“Over the past several years, we’ve stepped up our commitment to foster vibrancy within our neighborhoods, allocating almost 2 million to this initiative since 2023,” Mayor Scott Fadness said. “Our residents and HOAs have responded with a record number of project proposals, and it’s exciting to see how neighbors are working together to improve the quality of life in their community.”
