In September, the Altrusa Club of Hamilton County was happy to initiate Brenna Chia into our club. Also, we attended the Style Show of the Altrusa Club of Indianapolis at Ritz Charles. One of our members, Gloria DelGreco, modeled for them.
Our next big project is our fundraiser, membership drive, and collection of donations for Prevail. The fundraiser will be a food truck from the Food Florist, which sells frozen entrees. It will be located in the parking lot of the Carmel Christian Church, 463 E. Main St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15. At this event, we will have a table with written information about our club plus members available to talk about Altrusa and answer questions about our club. Even if you only want to donate new personal care items or gift certificates to Prevail, we will have a collection box available for these donations.
