Everett Ford

June 23, 1935 – August 19, 2025

Everett R. Ford, 90, Noblesville, just renewed his driver’s license and turned 90. He was feeling good and happy. Tuesday, August 19, he spent the afternoon with his friends telling jokes at Pebble Brook Grill. Upon leaving he fell in the parking lot and passed.

Everett was born on June 23, 1935, to Hester and Clarence Ford in St. Louis, Mo. He had two older brothers, Russel and Marvin Ford, who preceded him in death. Everett married Suzanne Haynes on May 17, 1958. They enjoyed 62 years together before her passing in December 2020.

Everett graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis in 1955. He was in the Army from 1955 to 1957 and stationed in Germany. He worked for Hostess. Everett started as an extra route driver and later became the Sales Manager and was transferred to Indianapolis in 1974.

Everett is creative, smart, and positive. He never met a stranger. Everett loved people and let them know it. Everett went on an annual fishing trip for 40 years to Ontario, Canada, with his buddies the first week of June.

Everett is survived by his daughter, Janet Ford Tarr Moore; granddaughter, Reva Tarr Mobley (Brandon); his nieces, Sherri Ford Smith, Smitty, Sandy Ford Jenkins, Karen, and Deanna; and great-nieces and great-nephews Heather, Rodger, Niko, Tiffany, Steve, Ashley, Blake, Christine, Jenna, Parker, Rachel, Ethan, Devin, Jonna, Ellie, and Adam.

A celebration of Life for Everett will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Pebble Brook Grill, 3110 Westfield Road, Noblesville. We will spend an hour (6 to 7 p.m.) passing the microphone around so everyone can tell their favorite Everett story.
