Westfield public library invites kids to free Author Fair June 29

Five authors to share stories & science experiments

The Westfield Washington Public Library will hold a free Summer Author Fair on Sunday, June 29 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Meet five inspiring children’s and middle grade authors, enjoy engaging presentations, and discover books that spark imagination and curiosity.

The event will take place in Program Room A and the library’s Atrium, with a special hands-on science presentation by Stephanie Ryan in Program Room C. Attendance is free and open to all – no registration required, except for Ryan’s interactive science workshop, which includes a make-and-take lava lamp/sensory bottle activity for children.

“We’re thrilled to host such a dynamic lineup of authors whose books and programs inspire curiosity, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning,” Public Services Librarian Kim Wright said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with authors, explore new books, and enjoy a truly interactive library experience.”
