Rhonda L. Harper, 83, Fishers, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Riverview Health in Noblesville with all four of her children and three grandchildren by her side. She was born on December 24, 1939, to Milo and Agnes (Clark) Dodd in Indianapolis.
Rhonda was a 1958 graduate of Fishers High School and a lifelong resident of Fishers. She worked as an office manager at Fishers Grain Elevator, then later as a legal secretary/office manager at Emswiller, Williams, Noland and Clarke, LLC. Rhonda was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Fishers, where she served as Worthy Matron twice and secretary for many years.
In 1958, Rhonda married Thomas Harper, who precedes her in death. Also surviving are their four children: daughter, Lynne M. Rhea (Ed) and their three children, Elizabeth Cobb, Lyndsey Cobb (James Mounger), and Daniel Cobb (Lauren Dawson); son, Thomas Dodd Harper (Debbie Freeman) and their two children, Thomas L. Harper (Michelle) and Summer Harper; son, Timothy Wayne Harper and his two sons, Joshua Harper and Joseph Harper; and son, Tod F. Harper. Other survivors include four great-grandchildren, Calvin Dawson Cobb, Bryce Kehl, Thomas Xavier Harper, and Caroline Harper Cobb; sister, Harriet Dodd Vicory; sister-in-law, Adele Dodd; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 2020; and her brother, Milo E. Dodd.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m., on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the funeral home, with Dr. Ben Greenbaum officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
