Theresa Newby, 67, Anderson, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on January 14, 1956, to William and Germaine (McGhehey) McGuire in Noblesville.
Theresa worked in security at Menards and loved listening to the police scanner. She didn’t know a stranger and enjoyed country music. Most of all, she loved her family and grandkids.
Theresa is survived by her sons, Gregory (Becky) Newby and Bryan Newby; special sons, Kelly Jones, Eddie Rodeman, and James (Holly) Kerr; grandchildren, Megan Newby, Amy Miller, and Ma’siah Robertson; sisters, Becky (Larry) Lakin and Brenda (Paul) Mahaffa; good friends, Robert Castetter and Edra Robertson; extended family, Mandy (James) Miller; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Newby; and her brothers, Michael McGuire and Patrick McGuire.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville.
