At the beginning of June, Shepherd’s Center of Hamilton County (SCHC) launched its Keep Care Within Reach campaign. Due to statewide funding cuts resulting in the elimination of a $685,000 grant (and no fault of SCHC), the organization is facing a 68 percent deficit for the programs budget.
SCHC’s programs are vital to supporting seniors as they age in their homes, find ways to thrive in community, and connect with needed and essential resources. Even after a tremendous amount of thoughtful budget cuts, in order to be successful in this endeavor, SCHC needs to raise $250,000 this summer.
Would you consider giving to allow SCHC to keep care within reach for so many Hamilton County seniors and to help program offerings grow with the local aging population?
