Westfield won an all-county and Hoosier Crossroads Conference dual meet with Noblesville 48-16 Thursday at The Rock.
The Shamrocks were victorious in 10 of the 14 matches, including pins from Gabe Arvin, Dylan Driver, Carson Eldred and Alec McLaren, and technical falls from Braxton Vest and Seth Martin. The Millers got a pin from Adam Rider at 285 pounds.
“Noblesville’s a well-coached team,” said Westfield coach Phil Smith. “It was a conference win for us, so we’re excited about how our guys performed today.”
“I’ll tell you right now, Westfield’s a well-coached team and a great team to compete against and I was proud of our guys,” said Millers coach Michael Weimer. The coach was pleased that his team “improved from Tuesday’s dual to Thursday’s dual,” which is what he wanted to see.
