The Hamilton Heights swim teams swept a three-team meet with Guerin Catholic and Liberty Christian on Thursday.
In the girls meet, the Huskies won nine of 12 events. Tara Holder was a double winner in the 200 and 500 freestyles, while Cylie Starr also was first in two events, the 50 free and breaststroke. Other individual wins for Heights came from Kennedy Weaver (individual medley), Ryleigh Poe (butterfly), Carlie Flintoff (backstroke) and the medley and 400 free relays.
The Golden Eagles won three events. Emma Abdalla was first in diving, Erica Hunckler paced the 100 free, and Guerin also was first in the 200 free relay.
In the boys meet, the Huskies won seven events. Eli VanHaaren was a double winner in the 200 free and the butterfly. Other Heights wins came from Josh Snay (IM), Joe Ringer (100 free), Grant Forrer (500 free) and the medley and 400 free relays.
Guerin Catholic picked up five event wins, including a double victory from Quinn Sweeney in the 50 free and the backstroke. Dane Leonard was first in diving, Johannes Hoffmann paced the breaststroke and the Golden Eagles won the 200 free relay
