Winter storm leads to a small pause for ATI’s The Big Bang

Editor’s note: The following announcement was sent by Actors Theatre of Indiana shortly after noon on Tuesday. The Reporter republishes it here in full.

Dear Friends –

We are so happy to hear the many wonderful comments and accolades that keep pouring in for our current production of THE BIG BANG such as:

“You can’t go wrong attending this show, it is full to the brim with quick bits and rapid-fire lines. If you like to laugh – and perhaps groan at times, this production will do the trick.”

– Review by Ken Klingenmeier, A Seat on the Aisle theater blog

“The Big Bang is a delightfully frenetic romp. Two actors and an accompanist sing their way through the entirety of human history in exactly one hour and ten minutes from pre-history to the psychedelic 60s.”

– Rob Slaven, photographer for Indy Ghost Light Photography

However, with this weather storm approaching, and after much consideration for the safety of our patrons and artistic and production team, we at ATI have made the difficult decision to cancel the next two performances on Wednesday, February 2 and Thursday, February 3, to keep everyone safe.

We would like to let you know that you can exchange your ticket into any other performance through February 20th.

To do so, please send an email to tickets@thecenterpresents.org – explaining that you have received this notice and let the Center for the Performing Arts Box Office know which show you would like to exchange your ticket into, along with any questions you might have.

Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support professional theatre! We wish that each of you stay safe and warm and we’ll see you back at The Studio Theater for a hysterical performance of THE BIG BANG!

Sincerely,

Actors Theatre of Indiana
