Winter storm forces closure of county vaccine, testing sites

Anyone with an appointment will need to reschedule

Out of an abundance of caution for the approaching winter storm, the Hamilton County Health Department will close its testing and vaccination clinics.

The vaccination site at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Noblesville will be closed all day Wednesday. The testing site at the Hamilton County Health Department will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Both sites will be closed all day Thursday and Friday with operations resuming Monday.

Individuals with appointments will receive a call to reschedule.

Because sites run by the State Department of Health and other local health departments could be affected, anyone who plans a walk-in visit to a COVID-19 testing or vaccination site should contact the site to ensure it is open before going. Updates to state-operated sites will be reflected at coronavirus.in.gov and ourshot.in.gov.
