William John Coy, Jr., 67, Anderson, Ind., and formerly of Cicero, passed away on May 30, 2023.
He was born on October 19, 1955, in Noblesville to William John and Mary (Dyer) Coy. He grew up in the Cicero Area and attended local schools, graduating from Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1975. William then went to a school that taught mechanics in Tennessee and shortly thereafter went to work for U.P.S. as a mechanic. He had also worked for other well-known car dealerships.
He attended the Methodist Church in Cicero.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas James Coy; nephew, T.J. Coy; niece Ticia Coy; and his Granny.
He is survived by his two sisters, Brenda (Terry) Machgan of Texas and Kathy (Dave) Pryor of Florida; plus several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with Pastor Jody Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cicero Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the services.
