Get ready for a day of Irish-inspired festivities as Westfield’s Shamrock Drop, presented by Indiana Members Credit Union, returns to Grand Junction Plaza from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.
This family-friendly celebration promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with live Irish music, St. Patrick’s Day-themed carnival games, delicious food, and an opportunity to win fantastic prizes.
Shamrock Drop is free to attend, offering a number of attractions such as live Irish music, games, crafts, airbrush tattoos, and the Indiana Members Credit Union Cash Cube. Attendees can immerse themselves in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day while enjoying these exciting activities.
New this year are St. Patrick’s Day-themed carnival games as a paid attraction. Participants can win prizes like shamrock glasses, necklaces, toys, and more. Lucky Loot Cards are available for purchase, with a five-game card priced at $10 or a 10-game card at $20. To sweeten the deal, participants who pre-purchase their loot online will enjoy a $2 or $5 discount.
But the highlight of the day is undoubtedly “The Drop.” This year, all attendees have the chance to participate in the Shamrock Drop prize drawing for free. Upon arrival, head inside the cafe building, where you can write your name on a shamrock and drop it into the big cauldron. At 1:30 p.m., the Lucky Leprechaun will randomly select five shamrocks from the cauldron, and those fortunate winners will take home a pot o’ gold filled with amazing prizes and gifts generously donated by local Westfield businesses.
