Westfield Lions Club
On Sept. 17, members of the Westfield Lions Club joined forces with Pete’s Classic Restoration and Service Center to raise funds for the Emily Strong Foundation and promote Angela Grabovski’s run for Congress.

Emily Alberts battled childhood leukemia while a student at Carmel High School. Her foundation strives to provide hope for children with cancer through community events, donations toward local hospitals and research efforts, and drives to give gifts to local pediatric cancer patients.
Grabovski
Angela Grabovski, matriarch of the family that owns Pete’s, is running for Congress in Indiana to defend the freedoms we all share. According to Angela, “I fled the Soviet Union … and America became my home. Now, it’s time I do my part to save America – that’s why I’m running for Congress.”

Two Westfield High School students, Spenser Johns and John Witham, added support for the causes by performing their music for the event.
Participants showed up with a combination of American and European Classics as well as more recent sports and exotic cars. Pete’s opened their garage for tours of the many vehicles stored and being worked on there.
Visitors to the show enjoyed a perfect fall day, lots of unique automobiles, some good music, and helped to raise funds and support two good causes.
