The Westfield Education Foundation (WEF) celebrated the achievements, perseverance, and future aspirations of Westfield Class of 2026 during the annual Westfield High School Awards Night.
This year, WEF awarded nearly $130,000 in scholarships and awards to nearly 12 percent of the graduating class. In total, 86 graduating seniors and one alumni recipient received scholarships made possible through the generosity of community partners, businesses, families, alumni, donors, and legacy funds. See the full list of scholarships below.
As WEF celebrates its 40th Anniversary, the evening served as a reminder of the vision established by the founding board in 1986 to support students as they take their next step beyond Westfield High School.

Knott
“Every scholarship tells a story,” WEF Executive Director Ashley Knott said. “Behind every award is a donor, family, business, or community member who believes in students and wants to invest in their future. We are incredibly grateful to the individuals and organizations who continue to walk alongside our students and help open doors of opportunity.”
Today, WEF administers 54 scholarships and awards supporting a wide variety of pathways, including college, trade programs, certifications, and career-focused opportunities. Scholarship recipients from the Class of 2026 will pursue futures in engineering, healthcare, education, business, construction management, public service, agriculture, communications, architecture, technology, skilled trades, and the arts.
Students are attending institutions across Indiana and the nation, including Purdue University, Indiana University Bloomington, Ball State University, Butler University, University of Cincinnati, Boston University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and many more.

Atha
“One of the greatest strengths of Westfield Washington Schools is our students and educators,” Superintendent Dr. John Atha said. “These scholarships represent more than financial support, they reflect the belief, encouragement, and our commitment to helping students pursue their goals and reach their full potential. We are incredibly grateful to the Westfield Education Foundation and the many donors who continue to honor and celebrate the achievements of our students.”
The Foundation is already preparing for the Class of 2027 and is actively seeking new scholarship partners to help meet the evolving interests and career aspirations of Westfield students. Areas of growing student interest include pharmaceutical sciences, dentistry, psychology, sociology, biomedical sciences, real estate development, artificial intelligence, engineering, finance, healthcare, environmental sciences, skilled trades, business, communications, and education.
Community members, alumni, businesses, and organizations interested in establishing a scholarship or supporting future graduates are encouraged to connect with the Foundation.
“Excellent schools build excellent communities,” Knott said. “When we invest in students, we invest in the future of Westfield.”
Since 1986, the Foundation has awarded more than 1,300 scholarships and nearly 600 teacher grants while continuing to support programs that empower students and educators across Westfield Washington Schools. To learn more, visit wwswef.org.
