The Donut Trail, presented by The Farmers Bank, returns to the Westfield trail system on Saturday, May 30, continuing through Sunday, June 7.
The Donut Trail is a joint celebration of National Donut Day on June 5 and National Trails Day on June 6. The event gives residents an opportunity to explore the city’s award-winning trail system with the promise of a sweet treat at participating donut shops.
Here’s how it works:
- Beginning Tuesday, May 26, participants may pick up a free Donut Trail passport at The Farmers Bank Westfield, 17370 Farmers Bank Way; Westfield City Services, 2728 E. 171st St.; or participating donut shops during normal business hours.
- Starting May 30, participants can explore trails throughout Westfield and use their passport to locate 12 “sweet stops,” each marked by a four-foot Donut Trail sign.
- Each sweet stop includes a code word to write in the passport. Code words may be collected in any order.
- After collecting all code words, participants can visit participating locations to redeem their Donut Trail rewards. Participants should have their completed passport ready to present at each shop.
Rewards may be redeemed at the following locations:
- Jack’s Donuts, 17423 Carey Road, Suite B
- Titus Bakery & Deli, 17471 Wheeler Road, Suite 110
- Quack Daddy Donuts, 16156 Spring Mill Road, Suite 500
- Rise’n Roll Bakery, 16030 Spring Mill Road, Suite D
Additionally, participants who pick up their passport at The Farmers Bank Westfield location may enter to win donuts for a year. No purchase is necessary to enter. The contest runs May 26 through June 13. The drawing will take place on Monday, June 15.
