“I decided to run because of my love for the city of Westfield,” Ailor said. “I love the people, the history, and the culture here. I also feel I am well-qualified for the role because of my knowledge of the job, its duties, and the staff, thanks to my time spent as Deputy Clerk. The role of the Clerk Treasurer is to defend the taxpayers and be a watchdog against overspending, and that’s exactly what I will do when elected. As Westfield’s next Clerk Treasurer, I will prioritize transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility.”

In addition to Ailor working as Deputy Clerk, her husband Kurt works for Chrysler, and they have one son, Kohl. She says she enjoys spending quiet evenings with family and friends, fishing, and being involved in conservative groups in the area. She was one of the key members of the Fiscal Conservatives of Hamilton County group and is heavily involved with the Hamilton County Republican Party.

When asked why she wants to run, Ailor said, “I really want to better my community. Westfield is my home, and I want to ensure we remain an amazing place to live, so that my son wishes to raise his own family here someday. It’s important to me that we improve every day, but that we keep Westfield wonderful overall.”
