Voting underway for Indiana’s Ultimate Farmers Market Challenge

Indiana Grown announced the Indiana’s Ultimate Farmers Market Challenge is returning this summer for its fourth year. This contest is a chance for Hoosiers to vote for their favorite hometown farmers market to encourage local engagement and statewide recognition.

Farmers market nominations and those you can vote for include:

  • Arcadia Market On Main, Hamilton County
  • Carmel Farmers Market, Hamilton County
  • Noblesville Main Street Farmers Market, Hamilton County
  • Westfield Farmers Market, Hamilton County
  • Wilson Farm Market, Hamilton County
  • Tipton County Farmers & Artisans Market, Tipton County
  • Pendleton Farmers Market, Madison County

“The Indiana’s Ultimate Farmers Market Challenge gives Hoosiers a fun and meaningful way to support their favorite local markets,” Indiana Grown Program Director Caroline Patrick said. “Every vote shines a spotlight on the farmers and producers who bring fresh, Indiana-grown products to our communities. Farmers markets help drive local connection, and local commerce, and it’s inspiring to see such passionate support from Hoosiers across the state.”

Voting runs through Aug. 5. Farmers market fans are allowed one vote per person, per day. The winning farmers market will be announced Aug. 8.
