University sophomore Noa Calili qualified for the state prelims at the Lafayette Jefferson on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Calili made it in the breaststroke, where she finished third in the sectional with a time of 1 minute, 6.56 seconds. Calili earned a callback to state, which means her time was fast enough to fill a field of 32 in that event.
Calili also swam in the 50 freestyle, placing sixth in 25.48 seconds.
