Unified track: Tigers place fourth at state

The Fishers Unified track team placed fourth at the IHSAA state meet, which took place Saturday, June 6 at North Central.

The Tigers scored 99 points. Penn won the state championship with 129 points, with Elkhart the runner-up by scoring 121 points. Lafayette Jefferson took third with 102 points.

Aaron Schooley won Section 6 of the 100 dash and had the overall fastest time at 11.46 seconds. Stephen Krokos placed first in Heat 4 of the 400 dash (1:04.62). Caleb Milner won Flight 6 of the long jump; his best jump of 20 feet, 3.75 inches was the overall best.
