Trent Scott has begun a four-year term as the new Chair of the Board of Directors for Aspire Indiana Health. He takes over from previous Chair Michael Collette.
As chair, Scott will lead the board in oversight of the nonprofit community health system, which provides comprehensive healthcare services including primary care, behavioral health, addiction treatment and support services in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, Marion, and Shelby counties. He has served on the Aspire board since 2014.
“I feel deeply honored to step into the role of Chair of the Board of Directors at Aspire Indiana Health as we prepare to celebrate our 60th year of operation,” Scott said. “What excites me most is the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our passionate board members, incredible leadership team, and dedicated staff. Together, we’ll continue building meaningful change and creating a healthier, brighter future for the communities we serve.”
Scott is Chief Operating Officer of Pathway International, a social services organization headquartered in Indianapolis. He has more than 30 years of executive experience in human resources, finance and business strategy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology from Wabash College and a master’s degree in adult and community education from Ball State University.
