Three local students intern for Sen. Young in Washington

Three college students from Hamilton County are among 10 total who are currently taking part in U.S. Senator Todd Young’s (R-Ind.) summer internship program in Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis.

The students are from Carmel, Fishers, West Baden Springs, South Bend, Winona Lake, Indianapolis, Middlebury, Richmond and Dyer.

They will assist legislative and communications staff with daily activities and special projects through the first week in August. The office of Sen. Young offers internship opportunities year round, in both his D.C. and Indiana offices. This program offers students this invaluable educational opportunity to take part in the legislative branch of government and a unique opportunity to give back to their communities.
