Featuring beloved songs like “Put On a Happy Face” and “Telephone Hour,” Bye Bye Birdie (Youth Edition) celebrates teenage dreams, rock-and-roll hysteria, and the joy of performing. The Drama Department’s production emphasizes arts education, collaboration, and confidence-building for young actors.

Spring Semester registration now open for The Drama Department
In addition to its Spring productions, The Drama Department at The Cat is now registering students for its Spring Semester of classes. Designed for young performers of varying experience levels, The Drama Department offers instruction in acting, musical theatre, voice, and audition skills in a supportive, educational environment.
Classes focus on building confidence, collaboration, and strong foundational skills in theatre, while providing students with opportunities to apply their learning onstage. Spring Semester classes run alongside The Cat’s production schedule and are open to youth and teens interested in exploring the performing arts.
