The IHSAA announced pairings for this week’s tennis sectional tournament Monday night.
There will be three sectional sites in Hamilton County. Fishers will host Sectional 31, which will be a three-team event. The No. 14-ranked Tigers will take on No. 21 Hamilton Southeastern at 5 p.m. this afternoon, with the winner playing Anderson Thursday for the sectional championship.
Carmel will host Sectional 35 at the Todd Witsken Tennis Center. The No. 1-ranked Greyhounds play No. 10 Guerin Catholic in one of today’s semifinals, which begin at 5:15 p.m. University and No. 4 Zionsville will compete in the other semifinal. Today’s winners play Thursday for the sectional title.
Noblesville is the host of Sectional 56, which also begins today. The No. 24-ranked Millers take on Lapel in one semifinal, with No. 17 Westfield playing Hamilton Heights in the other semi. The winners advance to Thursday’s sectional championship.
