The Hamilton Southeastern boys tennis team beat Noblesville 5-0 in a Wednesday dual meet.
The No. 14-ranked Royals won all five matches in straight sets. In No. 1 singles, Andrew Orme won in two tough sets over the Millers’ Noah Bushong 6-4, 6-4. The No. 3 singles was also tight, with Southeastern’s Rohan Golla beating Zach Greer 6-3, 6-4.
“Overall, I was very happy with the way we played tonight, but there’s still some things we have to improve to be ready for the HCC tourney next week,” said Royals coach Kirk Webber.

Hamilton Heights dropped a 4-1 dual meet to a strong Western Boone team on Wednesday.
The Huskies’ lone win came from No. 2 doubles, with Jake Martin and Erik Malott coming back to get a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory.
Westfield, ranked No. 8 in the state, beat No. 28 Harrison 3-2 on Tuesday.
Winners for the Shamrocks were No. 3 singles Harrison Sindelar, No. 1 doubles Nicholas Mabe and Brett Barnes, and No. 2 doubles Connor Housefield and Danny Hildebrand.
Westfield is 8-1 for the season and hosts Franklin Central this afternoon.
