Swimming: Fishers girls win Panther Invitational

The Fishers girls swim team won the Panther Invitational Friday at North Central.
The Tigers scored 595 points to win the trophy, well ahead of runner-up Fort Wayne Carroll’s 439. Other team scores were Chesterton 381, North Central 354, Franklin Community 349 and Bloomington South 206.
Freshman JoJo Ramey won the individual medley, senior Abby Jahns was first in the 500 freestyle and junior Natalie Bryan won the diving event.
The Fishers boys team finished third at the Panther Invitational. The Tigers scored 383 points; Chesterton won with 728 and Carroll was second with 508. Other team scores were Franklin Community 357, Bloomington South 180 and North Central 155.
Aaron Frollo finished first in the 500 free and Sebastian Otero won the diving.
