The Committee to Elect Paul C. Sweeney for Judge announces continued momentum in Paul C. Sweeney’s campaign for Judge of Hamilton County Superior Court 9, marked by a successful June 10 fundraiser and a growing list of endorsements from elected officials and public safety organizations spanning all of Hamilton County.
The June 10 fundraiser was co-hosted by David J. Carr, Esq. and Sandra S. Carr, Esq., Tom Smith, and Ray Adler, Esq., and drew supporters from across the county.
Sweeney has earned endorsements from Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston, Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam, Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen, Westfield Mayor Scott Willis, all three Hamilton County Commissioners, Hamilton County Prosecutor Josh Kocher, city council members from Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and Westfield, the Carmel Professional Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 4444 and others.
“I am honored to have endorsements spanning the entirety of Hamilton County,” Sweeney said. “But as a 40-year Carmel resident, I am most proud to be endorsed by my mayor, Sue Finkam, all of the Republican members of the Carmel City Council, and the State Representatives who serve Carmel, Hunter Smith and Danny Lopez. The people of Hamilton County deserve a judge with deep roots in this community, and their confidence means the world to me. I will work every day to honor it.”
A Carmel resident since high school, Sweeney is a graduate of Carmel High School, Indiana University, and the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law, magna cum laude. He currently serves as Senior Counsel at Ice Miller LLP, with more than 60 trials and arbitrations across the country, and supports expanding the problem-solving courts in Hamilton County, including a mental health court.
