Support your local food banks

Working together with YOU to feed Hamilton County

Giving Tuesday may be over, but food banks’ need for support from readers like you certainly isn’t.

In fact, 22,370 Hamilton County friends and neighbors experience food insecurity. The local food support network has had to work much harder this year to supply the increasing need.

In 2023, Hamilton County Harvest (HCH) Food Bank had to purchase more than 50 percent of the food it distributed. This resulted in over $100,000 in food purchases.

Besides providing local food needs, HCH also provides valuable network support throughout Hamilton County. You are also encouraged to donate to your local food pantry if you desire.  Click here to see the list of food pantries for public distribution within Hamilton County. The list is current as of Sept. 14.

Please give what you can – not only because it’s the holiday season, but because our neighbors are in need now and every day.
