Steven R. Coy, 61, Beatrice, Neb., died Saturday morning, June 12, 2021 at a Lincoln hospital. He was born on December 21, 1959 in Richmond, Ind. He graduated from Hamilton Heights High School in Arcadia, served in the U.S. Air Force, and married Dana Rushing. He was an engineer for Fugro, a geoconsulting firm in Arlington, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Coy, Beatrice; son, Joshua Coy; daughter, Jessica Braden; three grandchildren; and sisters, Beverly Coy and Becky (Burl) West. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lena Jackson Coy.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 at Life Church, 2200 Sheridan Road, Noblesville. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice is in charge of the arrangements.
